The Dr. Kahán Éva Foundation runs an Art Space of contemporary art in Budapest. Hosting a rotating program of exhibitions, the Foundation’s primary focus is to spotlight young and undiscovered artists from the Central European region with the intention of gaining them public recognition and encouraging their artistic careers.
The next vernissage will be held on March 1, 2018 at 6pm at Kahan Art Space in the Nagy Diófa Utca 34, 1072 Budapest where Mihály Mór Kovács will present his works. You can visit the exhibition till March 31. 2018 every Tuesday – Saturday from 12 AM- to 5 PM.
The Foundation exhibitis more artists per year who are selected on a rotating basis from a pool of applicants by a board of curators. The program is multi-faceted and open to innovation.
The Dr. Kahán Éva Foundation expects its applicants to respect human rights, minority rights and the freedom of art.

In addition to the provision of space, the Kahan Art Space will bear the cost of shipping the works, the installation of the works together with the artist, the costs for a vernissage with accompanying catering. Furthermore the the Foundation will carry out the documentation of the exhibition together with the artist and it will be presented on the website of the Dr. Kahán Éva Foundation.
How to apply for an exhibition in the Kahan Art Space:
The applicant should send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org in electronic form containing his / her CV and a concept for an exhibition which contains the planned date and information on which materials and technical requirements (eg. technical Installations) are required.
On the basis of the submitted plans and a personal meeting, the board decides on the selection of the artist and the amount of support.
